Miller Outdoor Theatre Presents "The Princess and the Pea"
The classic family fairytale, The Princess and the Pea, is coming to the Miller Outdoor Theater at Hermann Park on April 22, 2011 at 11 AM.
The Prince must marry a real Princess before his next birthday or he will lose the throne, and the only way to tell if a girl is a real Princess is to have her take a test! Only a real Princess would have the sensitivity to feel a pea through a huge stack of bedding. Can the Prince get his Princess to take the test? Will she pass?
This charming bilingual (Spanish/English) adaptation of the Hans Christian Andersen classic set in Mexico will entertain the entire family, so pack a blanket and sack lunches, and head for the park! Admission is free.
Other places to visit and things to do in Hermann Park include The Houston Zoo, pedal boats, Train Ride, Golf Course, Museum of Natural Science (Planetarium and IMAX), Houston Garden Center, Japanese Garden, Children's playground, and Marvin Taylor Exercise Loop.
The Hermann Miller Outdoor Theater is located at 6000 Hermann Park Drive, Houston TX 77030. For more information call (281) 373-3386 or visit MillerOutdoorTheatre.com.
